Admission to Postgraduate Courses-2002-2004 Session

The Director, RINPAS, invites application for following courses commencing at this Institute from 1st Aug.2002.

Courses

1. Ph.D. In Clinical Psychology (2 seats)

Duration: 3 years for M.A (Psychology) degree holders and 2 years after D.M & S.P/M.Phil. In Medical and Social Psychology/M.Phil. In Clinical Psychology.

Qualification: First Class Master’s degree in Psychology or Diploma/M.Phil. In Medical and Social Psychology/M.Phil. In Clinical Psychology for 3 years and 2 years courses respectively.

2. Ph.D.In Psychiatric Social work (2 seats)

Duration: 3 years for M.A. Social Work or M.S.W.with at least 60% marks, 2 years for DPSW or M.phil in Psychiatric Social Work.

Qualification: M.A Social Work or M.S.W with at least 60% marks, or DPSW/M.Phil. In Psychiartic Social work for 3 years and 2 years courses respectively.

3. M.Phil.In Medical and Social Psychology (6 seats)

Duration: 2 years

Qualification: M.A. in Sociology or Social Work of a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.

Stipend: According to the terms and conditions of the Institute.

Note:

1. Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats in each discipline.

2. Reservation to SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per rules.

3. The cut-off date for educational qualification and experience will be 20th may 2002.

4. Fluency in English speaking is an essential criteria.

5. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

6. Request for application form should be made on or before 10th May 2002 (by registered/speed post only) to the Director, Ranchi institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (Rinpas) Kanke, Ranchi-834006, accompanied by a self-addressed envelop of 26x10 cms with postal stamp of Rs.30/- affixed there on along with a demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- only in case of ST/SC candidates) drawn in favour of the Director, RINPAS, payable at Ranchi as examination fee. Filled up application form must reach to the Institute on or before 31st May 2002 by registered/speed post only.
