Entrance Test For Admission into Post-Graduate Degree Courses in ‘Ayurveda’ and ‘Unani’ For the Year 2001-2002

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into first year of 3 years Post Graduates Degree Courses in M.D (Ayurveda) and M.D (Unani) 2001-2002 available of Dr.B.R.K.R.Govt.Ayurvedic College, S.R.Nagar, Hyderabad-500038 and Govt. Nizamia Tibbi College, Charminar, Hyderabad, respectively.

Eligibility:

1)M.D. (Ayurveda): B.A.M.S, Degree of NTR University of Health Sciences or any other University/statutory included in the 2nd schedule to the IMCC Act, 1970. The candidates who have joined BAMS Course after 15/07/1995 shall pass all the exams at degree level in first attempt.

2)M.D (Unani): BUMS Degree of NTR University of Health Sciences or any other University or its equivalent, recognised by C.C.I.M

The Candidates who are already holding a P.G.Degree in Ayurveda and P.G.Degree in Unani or already studying M.D. (Ayurveda) and M.D (Unani) shall not be eligible to appear for entrance test.

The cut-off date for completion of internship and for completion of 3 years regular service to consider as a service candidate for M.D (Ayurveda) and M.D (Unani) Courses is 31/03/2002.

Sale of Applications: The application forms along with regulations for admission into M.D. (Ayurveda) & M.D (Unani) Courses can be obtained from 6/05/2002 to 18/05/2002 on submission of Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.600/- (Rs.450/- for SC/Sts) drawn on or after 27/04/2002 in favour of the Registrar, NRT University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada at the following offices;

1) Principal, Dr.B.R.K.R Govt.Ayurvedic College, S.R.Nagar, Hyderabad-500038 (M.D. (Ayurveda) only)

2) Principal, Govt.Nizamia Tibbi College, Near Charminar, Hyderabad-500001 (M.D. (Unani) Only)

3) Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada-520008 (M.D (Ayurveda)

4) Officer on Special Duty, NTR University of Health Sciences Office & Directorate of Medical Education Buildings, Koti, Hyderabad-500195 (M.D. (Unani)

Requisitions for supply of application forms by post shall be accompanied with a written request specifying the course along with a self addressed envelope of 20 cms x 25 cms size affixing postage stamps of Rs.24/-. The candidates shall also clearly specify on the back of the demand Draft, the name of the course for which the application form is t be sent.

Late Date for submission of application forms: The filled in application forms with all necessary documents shall reach on or before 21/05/2002 by 5:00 PM as given in the application form. The applications received after due date and time will not considered under any circumstances.
