Naalo Vunna Prema (Telugu)

One More Addition to the Release List

Naalo Vunna Prema, yet another love triangle. That’s all. Nothing new about anything in it, neither in the story nor in the narration. It can only be graded to be just one more name in the list of recently released movies.

Sai Krishna, a young man likes a female voice on hearing one of her songs. He turns a fan to the voice later. Incidentally, he sees Hema, the singer in a marriage. Sai Krishna falls in love at first sight. From then a new character enters. She is Raji, Hema’s sister. This character is filled with zeal and naughty.

The naughty girl teases everyone. Especially, she teases Sai Krishna more and has fun. Sai comes to know of the relation of Raji and Hema. He is introduced to Hema through Raji. As usual, Sai Krishna keeps on loving Hema. Raji, obviously plays rascal here too. She writes letters, speaks on phone with Sai Krishna, and conveys her love and affection towards him.

However, all this Raji does taking Hema’s name. Sai Krishna unaware of this keeps thinking that Hema is writing letters and reciprocating love for him. Sai wishes to introduce Hema to parents by arranging a music programme at Hyderabad. As Hema does not know the total episode, she rejects the love and marriage proposal from Sai Krishna. Now, hero is hurt. In the latter half of the screening, Raji writes a detailed letter to Sai Krishna. She explains how she started writing and calling him just to tease. She also conveys that she fell in love with Sai Krishna in the process of teasing him. She finally wishes to sacrifice her love, writing that as Sai loved Hema and not her, she asks him to marry her.

Jagapathi Babu (Sai Krishna), Laya (Hema) and Raji (Raji) performed to justify their characters. Over all the passionate expressions of Raji can be counted over the other two.

It is a big patience test for audience with the slowest possible screenplay, old story and much older narration style. Music also cannot match to the audience ‘note’. Though photography is well done, it goes in vain. What would a good photography do to a boring movie. There was no scope for other performers to exhibit their talent. Adding to the fury of the audience would be much boring comedy track of the trio L B Sri Ram, Kovai Sarala and M S Narayana.

Finally, the end product is pinning the theatre ticket counterfoil to the bunch of boring lot.
