National Endoscopic Urology – 2001 workshop on September 15 & 16 Hyderabad, September 13 (HSN): Medwin Hospitals, a corporate Medicare organisation proposed to organise a national standard workshop on Endoscopic Urology on September 15 and 16 in city.
Workshop organising secretary and Medwin Hospitals Urologist addressing a press conference at the NSS in Hyderguda here on Thursday detailed that Urologists would be trained on the advanced techniques for removal of gallstones without any surgery in the workshop. Advanced systems of removing stones from kidneys and treating kidney inflammations through endoscopies. Confirmation of over 150 urologists from across the country was received until now, he added.
Dr Mahesh Desai from Gujarat, Dr Anantha Kumar from Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Institute of Lucknow, Dr Pankaj Maheshwari of Mumbai, Dr Roy Chally of Kolkatha, Dr T R Murali of Madhurai will be training the visiting specialists and deliver lectures on the subject. A multi-media compact disc would also be released on the occasion and retailed to specialists and doctors on concession prices.
Dr Ranganadha Rao and Dr Vyas Narayana, senior doctors of Medwin were among the speakers at the meet.
