Special funds allocated for Tourism, asserted Minister Peddi Reddy Hyderabad, Sep 15(HSN): State Tourism Minister Mr.E.Peddi Reddy asserted that special funds allocated for the Tourism development.
On Saturday, responding to MLA Mr.K.Siva Prasad Rao, during Question Hour in Assembly, the Tourism Minister informed that Rs.21 lakhs allocated for the development scheme for 1999-2000. That fund was utilised for bore wells, toilets, gardens, environment education, recreation, public facilities, birds and Deer Park.
Guntur District Collector included Kotappakonda, in the planning proposals as part of Tourism development in the District. Another Rs.10 lakhs also released for the year 2000-2001 to take up the development works in the District, the Minister informed the House.
