Points to remember in using the study material

Based on the latest syllabus, the course caters to the requirements of competitive examinations.

A high standard is maintained throughout and due weightage is given to numerical problems.

Foundation material has six sets and they are issued at intervals of one month. Each set contains topics in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with question banks.

Completion of Work

The Study of the lessons of each set has to be completed within the allotted time of one month. This includes the preparation of the work sheets on the assignments given at the end of each lesson.

The foundation classes continue till the end of February for classes VIII and IX. For class X, the foundation coaching is concluded by the end of November. From December onwards, more emphasis is laid on state syllabus that includes revision classes, periodical tests, and doubt clarification classes.

Exercises, Assignments, Doubt Clarification Classes & Tests

To get the full benefit of the course, in addition to mastering the contents of the lessons, attention must also be directed to the following areas of learning.

Preparation and submission of worksheets on the assignments.
Making use of Doubt Clarification classes.
Unit Tests and Assignment Tests are conducted regularly. These exercises should not be considered a mere routine. There is further follow up action, which is an integral part of the course. Solutions to the assignments I, II, III, IV, V & VI sets are subsequently given after through scrutinising of the answer sheets of the assignment.
